Meet Aldo
Aldo Farinola, a 61-year-old entrepreneur from Foggia, Italy, has overcome his battle with obesity and transformed his life. At the age of 57, he underwent bariatric surgery, resulting in a significant weight loss from 155 to 95 kilograms. However, during the same year, he tragically lost his son, which overshadowed his personal achievement.
Despite the immense personal loss, Aldo has persevered and found solace in his journey. On July 1st, he experienced a significant milestone when he was selected among 65 aspiring models over 60 to participate in a fashion show at Palazzo Pitti in Florence. Today, his face and physique grace the billboards of Italy's most prominent cities, representing a triumph over adversity.
Beyond his own success, Aldo's true goal is to inspire others who are struggling with obesity to seize a second chance and not give up. He encourages those who feel trapped and ashamed to find the strength within themselves, emphasizing the importance of willpower and determination.
