BIO
Meet Sally. Born on September 8, 1999, in Djibouti to Indian, Djiboutian, and Somali origins, she was adopted at the age of 1 year and 2 weeks. She grew up in the countryside with her older brother. Passionate about music from a young age, it was a dream she once thought was unattainable. In 2019, she moved to Paris to pursue her dream, releasing a Colors Show that amassed over 2 million views. Following the release of an EP and an album, she decided to take a break to focus on her mental health, particularly her battle with bipolar disorder. She has been very open about her condition, turning it into a daily fight and raising awareness through interviews and conferences on the subject, which remains taboo for many. Due to her treatment, she experienced significant physical changes, gaining 30 kg after a prolonged period of anorexia. Though she eventually lost the weight, she now faces body dysmorphia, a daily struggle she tackles through photography and confronting her reflection in the mirror. Versatile in her pursuits, she has worked as an ambassador for Adidas and collaborated with Yves Saint Laurent Beauty, where she performed a live session for the Black Opium fragrance. At 25 years old, she is embarking on a new journey in fashion. A lifelong admirer of the industry, she credits her distinctive style, which combines layering and both oversized and form-fitting clothing, as a key part of her identity. An unapologetic fan of black, her wardrobe is filled with it, reflecting her enduring love for the color.
